      @saltnburnem From a conference's perspective - They might be faced with so many good submissions that only a small % of speakers get in each year. Picking the same speakers each year would seem unfair to the ones who never get in.

    @saltnburnem Not sure which conf.. But I'd rather see them change it up every year, than become a super secret society that accepts the same people all the time. Easy for me to say because it's not me, but I wanted to add a counter perspective.
