@kylewelch The long goal is helpful. I am no expert but I've always found that it's less about the tools and more about the habits -- remembering to make a note as I'm learning/right after I've learned something. I can't remember any specific event that helped me get in that mindset...

@kylewelch But I know that there are many times where I think "this is pretty basic and I bet everyone knows this" and I used to do nothing in those moments and now I'm better at saying "who cares, write it down, if for no one but yourself."

@kylewelch And there have been enough times that writing it down for myself has helped me, that I'm more conditioned to think something is useful to write down. Maybe obvious but I guess my point is that I think it's a self-supporting cycle.

@kylewelch One specific action I can think of to help build the habit is to schedule time for reflection & transferring thoughts/learnings into notes. Whatever the cadence/duration is that works for you.
