@AlizeNero Well I'm not even sure what's real anymore. I swear we've had matching backgrounds in the past, but today not only do I not have the same as you, but _neither of my separate chrome profiles have the same backgrounds_.
-
@AlizeNero I did a little bit of digging a couple weeks ago into getting a random image from unsplash, & found this endpoint -- unsplash.com/documentation#get-a-random-photo. My theory now is that the extension grabs a random image for each user, caches it for the entire day, & we randomly overlapped in the past
-
@AlizeNero * grabs a random for each user _from a specific collection_.
-
@AlizeNero Also I know you want to know why I was digging for random unsplash images, so I'll tell you -- I was talking to my therapist about how my collection of praise notes in trello is a good idea but fails in practice, because I have to *pull* the notes (go look at the trello board).
-
@AlizeNero I thought it'd be nice to *push* the notes to my browser start page so that I was forced to read them every day, helping avoid funky "no one loves me" land. I think I might rebuild that extension with random praise each day instead of the todo/main focus which I never use anyway
-
@AlizeNero Of course this has the same risk as any of my other side projects, which is that everything starts out as a good idea and nothing ever gets finished.
