      1. Important project #3 of holiday break - I replaced a kitchen faucet today and it only took three trips to the hardware store, one call to my (retired plumber) father, and two sawzall cuts.

    At one point, just before installation, I said "I think this is going to be the most straightforward project I've ever done in this old house!" Narrator: it was not straightforward.
