It was hiding in the sunny spots of the tree shadows. Didn't see it coming, but it gave my rear tube a big snake bite, & flatted immediately. Tube is replaced... The rim might be wrecked. My ride home was lumpy.

I'm tempted to replace the whole bike instead of getting just the wheel. It's been "my turn" for a new bike for years, and I've deferred for a long time. This might be the impetus, though.
