It’s between TypeScript and the entire rich ecosystem of JavaScript developer tools." I forget this sometimes, but yeah - dev'ing with plain JS in VS Code is already a pretty great experience.

      @schneidenbach @housecor @_ericelliott 2. setup, initial training, and ongoing mentorship costs are not insignificant. Something seemingly simple can be like figuring out a types puzzle. 3. the syntax is noisy, and unintuitive, at least for me.

        @schneidenbach @housecor @_ericelliott I didn't care for all arguments (the TDD one in particular seemed oversold, and I am a TDD fanatic). But it spoke to me in a way that said "yeah....I'm totally feeling this right now, and I've been kind of ignoring those things."
