@kylewelch I've owned both of those. The VW (golf) was really fun for a few years, then became expensive to maintain. The Mazda (3's predecessor) was almost as fun to drive, lasted a long time, and convinced is to buy another Mazda after we retired it. Purely anecdotal, obvs.
